How does MetrePay work?

Do I need a website to use MetrePay?
No, MetrePay has a web portal from which you can generate payment requests and send them to your clients via WhatsApp, email, or the mean of your choice.
Is it safe to make payments with MetrePay?
Yes! We operate under the PCI DSS requirements, so that the card data are protected under the rigor of the processor, and in MetrePay we do not store directly any data associated with the card or the cardholder.
How can i monitor my payments and transactions?
With MetrePay you have a company profile available from the web. From there you can monitor all your payments and collections in real time, and also generate reports by dates and type of payment method.
How long does it to credit the funds to my account?
Si! Con MetrePay podes recibir pagos de tus clientes extranjeros a través de PayPal o tarjetas internacionales. Tus acreditaciones las recibís directamente a tu cuenta bancaria local. Para más información, visitá la sección de Pagos Internacionales.
¿Cuánto tiempo tardan en acreditarse los pagos?
Payments made with local debit cards are on the next day, and payments with local credit cards are deposited 2 days after the operation.
Can i integrate MetrePay to my online shop?
Yes! MetrePay has an API and webhooks available to integrate to your apps or website. We also a WooCommerce available (WordPress)
What happens if a payment couldn't get processed on the established date?
MetrePay's automatic debit system automatically retries periodically until the scheduled payments are up to date. You can also access detailed reports on the reasons for the corresponding denials to facilitate your follow-up tasks.

Can I receive payments in different currencies?
Yes! Your foreign customers can pay in USD, EUR, and other currencies. You can then receive the credits in your local Guaraní or USD account, preferably.
Does MetrePay offer a mobile app?
To use MetrePay, you don't need to download any app, not even for your customers. Payment links open directly in their internet browsers to complete the payment process.
Can I cancel a payment or refund a customer?
Yes! MetrePay offers you the options you need to adjust your payments according to your needs: modify dates, amounts, cancel installments, end subscriptions, or request reversals of previous payments.
